Gifts

Good Morning
Wow, the Sunday evening service was amazing, like, there seemed to be A LOT of people impacted by the word and a huge response, it was so cool to see! Yes please to more of that!
So, I have a favourite verse in the bible: James 1: 16-17 - Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

I think in this time when we are delving deeper into what Jesus did, this is applicable. You see the enemy will be trying to stop you from receiving these things, the good and perfect gifts. He will tell you, you don’t deserve it or that you are not good enough for it, or even you are not good enough for God. But that is all lies, coming straight from the father of lies mouth. God wants to give you these give you these things, we are his children, his friends. What friend; what father doesn’t want to make you feel special or make you feel loved. I see it like this; Jesus was the greatest and most precious of these gifts, he was so dear to the Father. But because of how much he wants you to accept him as the way, he sent Him to reveal this truth and for Him to die for our sins so that we may have the path to get to the Father's house, to walk right through the gate into his glorious kingdom!
Know that you are loved, know that you have a Father that sent his son to die for you. Let the truth of Jesus message resonate within you as we carry on this series. God wants to bless us.
Be blessed and know the truth of Jesus message!
